CWC Student Ambassador Scholarship

REQUIREMENTS

• Must complete on-line Scholarship Application for consideration 
• Must be full-time (enrollment is 12 CWC credit hours or more)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 as shown on an official transcript(s) of high school or any previous college course work;
• Resume which outlines a) the applicant’s involvement in school and community activities, and b) evidence of leadership roles assumed by the applicant in such activities.
• Commitment to participation in a broad range of campus activities for at least 40 hours per semester.
• Interview with Admissions/Scholarship Committee. Please contact Admissions at 307-855-2119 to schedule an appointment. (Interviews may be conducted over the phone if it is a hardship for the student to come to campus.) 
• Scholarship award: $3,000

NOTES

The CWC Student Ambassador Scholarship (previously known as the CWC Quality Leader scholarship,) is awarded to students who show special promise to be leaders in the classroom and in campus activities. Student Ambassadors are a highly visible group on campus who act as representatives & recruiters for the college and participate in campus activities. Student Ambassadors donate 40 hours each semester in student ambassador work, such as giving campus tours and helping with various campus events.

Basketball, Men’s & Women’s

  • Fremont County High School Graduate

REQUIREMENTS

  • CWC Student Senate Officer
  • CWC Student Senator
  • Activity Committee Member

RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS

• The scholarship may be renewed for two additional semesters, two years total, provided the student continues to meet scholarship criteria, completes a scholarship application and submits a FAFSA.

Siegfried/Fabrizius Scholarship

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be full-time (enrollment is 12 CWC credit hours or more), any major
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• The applicant must complete a goal statement in writing as part of the CWC Scholarship Application.  Goal statement must indicate how scholarship assistance will impact their educational plan and benefit their situation.
• The student must have graduated from Riverton High School within ten years of applying
